Dr. Mitchell is a board certified family physician, medical educator, and consultant in cross-cultural medical care and communications. She received her doctorate degree from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed her graduate training in Family Medicine at the White Memorial Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Mitchell also received a Masters of Science in Clinical Research from the University of California, Los Angeles, and has engaged in health disparities research in the area of childhood obesity. Dr. Mitchell resides in Massachusetts and holds faculty appointments at Harvard Medical School and Tufts University School of Medicine.
