Dr. Flores grew up in Southern California and graduated from Stanford University with a BA in History. He attended the UC Davis School of Medicine and was honored with the Heineman Pulmonary Medicine Award and the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation National Fellowship. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles and is a founding member and Co-Director of the White Memorial Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Flores is the recipient of numerous academic and civic awards and in 2007 he received the Champions of Health Professions Diversity Award from The California Wellness Foundation.
