Dr. Samaniego was born and raised in Southern California. He obtained a BS Degree in Biology from Occidental College in 1977, received his medical degree from the University of Southern California in 1981, and went on to complete his internship and residency at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. As a founding member of the White Memorial Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program, he is completing his twentieth year as residency director. Dr. Samaniego also serves as president of the Family Care Specialists Medical Corporation.
